Half of them are out next election due to term limits. They wanted to get some free beer while they could.

What's odd about elected officials driving 10 miles to support a new local business? Took maybe a couple hours. Maybe they stopped and had lunch also contributing to the local economy.

I'd rather have them eating and drinking than sitting in the council chamber thinking of new taxes.

Do they all go?

I don't remember seeing ribbon cuttings at any local business openings in our area. I think the beer farm thing drawing the CE and so many council members is a bit much...and there must be a reason.

Councilmembers and the CE do these things all the time. Why is this one news?
