Never ever ever use social media to communicate or meet an AP. Always in person . It's the easiest way to get tripped up. AP has a condo downtown. In days we meet up I leave work early and we spend together.

Its been a couple of years and I think I'm in the clear but I will never be certain that I might run into her somewhere and the cards could come crashing down. My plan would be to lie and deny but who knows if that would work?

Most people affair with people they actually know, though. Not with randoms they pick up at a bar. So anonymity wouldn't work in a majority of cases. But, that story is hilarious.
I remember meeting a guy once online who told me his name was (let's say) Bob Smith. We went out for drinks and I caught a glimpse of his ID and his name was different. I assume he was married/didn't want me to be able to track him down.
Did your AP know your real name? Your whole name? The part of town you lived in? Your license plate #?
