Were you able to find out from your friend if it would be okay to post his contact details?

I would love to find a service to drop off/pick up my son from school.

Is it only for your school or only DC proper. I live in MoCo and need this!

It's for a MoCo private. Lemme check with him and see if he offers the service at other schools. If so, I'll see if it's ok to post the contact info.

My DC and many of her friends have used Uber regularly starting in 9th grade, age 13-14. I've never heard of a driver refusing to take them, including when DC was travelling with her (then-10-year-old) brother.

LOL I guess it is provincial to say livery. I wanted to clarify it was the cars like that - they have "livery" on the license plate. Not uber or lyft or anything but like an actual car service.
Very interesting responses though. A lot I hadn't thought about.

They are not supposed to (according to the web site) but the reality is that drivers ignore that "rule" and many, many HS kids use Uber.

My 15 and 14 y/o use it all the time - no concerns. Of course, they are male and over 6' tall, so I'm not sure if they could be distinguished from 18 y/o's.
