Your husband should let them know that Mr and Mrs whatever-your-name-is will attend. He is being as ass.

+1

Are you really young? Is he in the wedding and they think it's okay not to invite you? (It's not okay)

I was not invited to a wedding when I was just a girlfriend. Always invited after being married. Very strange.

Unless they are like totally broke and having like a 30 person wedding but even then it is pretty inappropriate.

They are really cheap or they don't like you or both.

Not only is he considering it, he IS going!

That just sucks. You need to sit him down and tell him that.

+1. I would think it would be weird if this is a good friend of DH and you don't have any kind of relationship with them. What is your relationship with this person?

Inappropriate. Maybe he's broke and trying to cut $ but yes, totally weird.

That is about as rude as it gets.

Inappropriate. Your husband should tell his friend that he will only go to the wedding if he can bring you. That is the ONLY solution here.

Another vote for inappropriate.

What makes this worse is that your husband is Groom/Bride's best friend. Spouses/long term couples are always invited. Normally, you'd include plus 1s for (at least) your best friends-even if single.

Yikes.
