I find carters to be pretty useless - the stuff shrinks so quickly, especially the pjs. She's worn some of their onesie and wore a size 18 month romper of theirs today, but that's about it
The BEST brand I have found is called Polarn O. Pyret - it's Swedish and apparently their babies are big. They are the only leggings that really have worked for her (Hanna Anderson size 75 also works now). And the POP stuff is CUTE. try to get it on sale because it's quite expensive.
Gap also works for us (although not old navy). She's in mostly 12-18 now pretty comfortably. We don't do leggings and most rompers are tough unless they are very stretchy (but I've found gap to be pretty good for this but not on everything - luckily you can return easily what doesn't fit). For pants try anything loose fitting. Most brands call them joggers. You might have to look in the boys section. For pjs, try the organic cotton from gap. They are very soft and have a nice stretch. Don't even try Hanna Anderson for pjs (that was sad!)
And don't listen to the haters. People will make the rudest f'ing comments to you (the best was WHAT ARE YOU FEEDING HER?? She was EBF at the time and I'd respond "pizza.") Your baby is gorgeous I'm sure! Enjoy her!
