This, we have a pottery barn set for every day but they are heavy, bulky and I end up preferring my Corelle. I got them on clearance for the kids and did not realize I'd like them so much.

I know people love Fiestaware, but I thought it was mostly the draw of the colored china?

+1. Got it to replace our chipped C+B dinnerware.
My grandmother had Corelle. They are very light and sturdy, which I love, but I don't like the shape. Kind of more amorphous, maybe? I want crisp/clean/defined.
NP who also loves my Corelle. All of my pieces are perfectly circular--very clean and classic-looking. Maybe you're not looking at the right lines?

We have the same. I don't think it's held up badly. We've used constantly for 4 years now and there are a few chips on the bowls, plates. But the stuff is so inexpensive I don't really care. Easy to replace and, IMO, looks as nice as the more expensive Crate and Barrel sets.
