I don't think shaving your pubic hair is safe and so I don't do it. Here is a link to an article that discusses it

My wife used to just trim, one day she went and got a Brazilian wax. When we were together she loved the new sensation and how much more of her was sensitive to my tongue and mouth – fast forward three years and every bit of it has been lasered off; I didn't care either way but now I have a real appreciation for bare.

To the poster who says that men want their women to look like 10-year-old girls, ahem... But there is no possible way a 42-year-old woman who has had three kids could be confused visually with a 10-year-old girl.

DH in my 30's and prefer my wife not to shave anything, even arm pits!

Sigh, such a horrible trend. More suffering for women so we can look like ten year old girls. With big tits.

that said, hypocritically perhaps, I'm willing but damn it's painful, expensive, and doesn't last long enough. Better off doing laser removal.

Are all the DWs and DHs who have or want the shaving, brazilian etc under 40? Just curious, it really seems to be more of a recent thing.

I just do the bikini area, and keep the rest trimmed. Otherwise, I shave my legs and my pits. DH has let me know that he doesn't care at all how I personally groom (and has proven that physically), but I like to keep things "clean."

It's societally ingrained in me, I guess. Though I know burlesque performers who are gorgeous and sexy, and don't shave their legs or pits.

So glad DH and I are both over 50 and think all this hair removal stuff is nonsense. We are both Jewish, and hairy, and no one cares.

DW surprised me once with the thinnest landing strip I had seen her get. It was incredibly hot and yes, you better believe I let her know. But she can do whatever. I'll dive down there no matter what. She's never gone bald

I generally don't have an issue with what people appreciate aesthetically, but men who find it incredibly erotic for women's genitalia to be completely bare kind of freak me out because it indicates a sexual attraction to an immature body.

My husband keeps his business trimmed, I keep mine trimmed. It works well for us, but if he insisted on a Brazilian or more than a Brazilian, I would want to talk to him about why.

"allowed" is a strong word.

I keeps things trimmed very short, but no waxing because it's expensive and/or painful and I always get crazy ingrown hairs. Husband has mentioned he prefers less hair (as in trimmed) because they make certain activities easier for him. I layered my armpits and it was a great decision.

I do wish he would wax his back and rear end. It is not attractive. I have never said anything.

For me, the more I shave the more hair I get. I don't shave anything anymore, except once under pits at the begging of summer. My legs are now almost bare after 20 years of not shaving. DH doesn't care.

The salon was horrified that you had normal pubic hair? The world has gone mad.

This.

Today is my wedding day (I can't sleep). Yesterday, the salon was horrified that I waxed everything except my entire mons. I just had the bikini area done and then cleaned up with Electric trimmer last night.
