I'm a Behavior Therapist (work under a BCBA and doing my 1,000 hours toward being a BCaBA. Most of my sessions are 2 hours. Out of that time I spend around 3-4 minutes "setting up," -- a minute at the beginning and a minute or 2 here or there to switch items out during the session. I spend the last minute or 2 putting things away, chatting with my client or a parent while doing that. I spend around 5-7 minutes taking notes, doing data, recording anything that needs to be recorded. I take photos of my data sheets so I have the info readily at hand. So that comes to maybe 10 minutes out of 120 so 12% of the time. Other than the minute at the beginning, that time is while the client is taking a break, having a snack, using the bathroom. Any kid is going to need a few minutes break a couple times during 2 hours so it's easy to get the data taken. Occasionally I need to do a little more, but that's rare. HTH.

We did it several years ago and I don't even remember who we used. I just logged on Facebook and did searches with our insurance name, aba and where we live. Then, read through the old posts till I found what I needed. Look for specific provider names as well as companies. I would not use a technician as then you have multiple people involved and just use one provider.

That's ridiculous. Talk with the supervisor asap.
FYI, after three BCBAs, my best experience has been with a private one who has her own practice. Working with a company was a nightmare. A private BCBA has more flexibility, is willing to train therapists. We joined forces in hiring techs, placed ads at local universities, and now have an amazing team. I would not stay with a company that can only do ten hours a week, that's unacceptable.
