A woman had her two dogs unleashed and thy started chasing my (terrified) child who was screaming stop and crying. The owner just watched. I asked her to please leash her dogs and she acted like this was a completely out of line request. Perhaps I'm in the wrong? I mean it's a park with an open playground (not gated). This post and replies made me wonder if I was wrong and just shouldn't return.

My dog needs to run fast and chase wildlife in the woods. So sick of you assholes. I've been taking dogs to the trail off Parkside near Beach for 40 years and you whinging newcomers can f*ck right off.
What an ass. Call 911 on this ass. If the dog is off leash and the owner won't restrain the animal, call 911. Done.

I'm sorry you're poor. It must be difficult for you, to witness all the changes going on around your little brick SS rambler as this area just gets wealthier every year.
Affluent professional moving in all around you, reminding you of what you don't have /can't buy. And the worst of it? those successful professional women twats! who outearn you 5 to 1. Their law-abiding habits are just the last straw, huh?

If your dog needs to chase wildlife in the woods, I would recommend you stop bringing it into a city. Learn to follow the laws or GTFO
