No way. He flagrantly supports very progressive social issues. He could have taken a centrist stand and said "ya know I see where both sides are coming from. I'm still going to support my version of 'justice' but I understand some traditional concerns, and I'll work to preserve religious/conservative/traditional families TOO." But no, he doesn't represent me. Just people who claim to be victims. (I'm in a religious minority that gets its own level of persecution..doesn't slow me down so I'm not going to claim victimhood, but it bothers me that there is this hyper-attention paid to certain groups, when he should be concerned for all freedoms.)

So the bottom line answer to OP's question is that the radical right wing Republicans have no idea what's next for them. No plan for the future, no idea how to change their path of 16 years of losing.

We're looking at another 4-8 years of dem rule. At what point does everyone face the reality that, love it or hate it, this country is evolving? I do not think the Republican Party (or any party, really) can be successful without acknowledging and embracing this reality.
