I just looked it all up. Here is a chart I found:

The Greatest Generation 1910 1925
The Silent Generation 1923 1944
Baby Boomers 1945 1964
Generation X 1961 1981
Millennials 1975 1995
Generation Z 1995 2015


If you were born in the years that are listed as overlapping years here, or in the years close to those border years, do you feel more a part of one or the other generation?

I was born in one of those in between years and one of my kids was, also. I don't really feel part of either generation. My child hasn't really thought about it much yet, but I wonder what he'll think when he's older.

I think it might be because there aren't as many of us. I don't remember where I read the statistics, but the Baby Boomers and Millennials are each much larger than the Gen X group. So it's to be expected that the larger groups are going to have more of a noticed impact.

So . . my take on it all is it is all pretty much entertainment value only, that some people actually believe.

Seems to be lots of complaints here about Boomers as well. Or maybe that's just one prolific poster.
Yes, there are people whose parents were/are awful and instead of accepting that their parents suck, they blame the rest of us who are the same age for their sh$tty parents.
