I know they do and it's highly annoying. They seem to think they own Christianity, and well, they don't.
I donno. Is it different than we calling ourselves Americans while everyone in North and South America are technically Americans? Often their churches don't have a formal name or structure.

I'm the earlier Catholic PP. They do that with the implication that they are the only 'real' saved Christians. They don't always recognize any other denomination as being Christian, most especially Catholicism.
