I sell stuff on Etsy, etc, make about 50k an year (after expenses) on the side.

I make around double that at the day job.

Me!! I make $70k but have awesome benefits, amazing colleagues and an incredibly flexible (truly flexible) work environment. I also love the work I do in public health.

Can you give a little description of what this entails? I want to make a shift from being a consultant (government contracting in health communication) to business strategy/marketing and would love to work for a tech company.

Can't you be a DOJ attorney in another state? My DH is DOJ (not an attorney). We are in and out of DC every few years. He is FBI and works with DOJ attorneys everywhere we go.

Yep, this. I'm the first DOJ lawyer above, and this is it. I in fact have a job application into the local USAO, but it is a very different job!
