Married 15 yrs. We chat at least 1x a day. Sometimes more. In addition, if we both happen to work remotely on the same day we "take a lunch break". ?

I have a coworker whose wife calls several times a day. And if he doesn't answer, she calls back immediately. Then calls his cell. Then his desk again. Until he picks up.

I speak with my DH multiple times during the day if you include FB chats. Often a phone call is in there, too. I couldn't imagine going several hours with no communication on a regular basis. That only happens when one of us is traveling.

MY DH callsa minimum of me twice a day while at work. He calls at 9:07am to make sure I made in to work okay and kids were fine at drop off. And he calls me as soon as he gets into the car when he gets off work at 3pm. Usually about 3:02 pm. I so look forward to these calls, even when I'm busy.

I used to call my dh on the way to grab lunch. Now he's my ex-dh and I still call him on the way to lunch because we have two little kids to co-parent and there is always something to discuss.
