On my runs, 10K steps is about 5 miles. If I'm walking, my miles need more steps... more like 12K steps for 5 miles.

Not sure how you converted to 22 miles, but if you're going on the 10K steps = 5 miles, 35K steps would be 17.5 miles.

This is weird to me - I'm the opposite. My running stride is longer than walking stride.

10k steps = 5 miles walked
10k steps = about 4 miles running, maybe even less

My goal is set to 15k a day. I hit it almost always (maybe once a month I don't hit it).

I tend to hit 20k 1-2x a week, always with the benefit of exercise and high cardio gym work.

I hit 25k 1-2x a month, on an especially active day. Like a day where I might get 2 workouts in.

30k+ I've only hit a couple times a year, when I was overseas and walking anywhere and everywhere. This is almost impossible for me to reach unless I have the time and mission to explore my surroundings or attractions.

If I spend 4 hours on my tread desk then I tend to hit around 15k-20k steps. I only walk around 2.5mph though, any faster it gets a bit more difficult to continue working.

Typically day for me is 10-12K 4 to 5 miles. When I'm really active on the weekend - hiking I've maxed out at 25 K only 2 or 3 times. And yes I'm exhausted. If I could still run I'm sure I would meet that more regularly but just walking even if I'm walking all day I'd rarely meet the 22K steps in a day.
