If you know any teenagers, I would bring one of them along as a babysitter and do the beach for a week! But I HATE amusement parks and that kind of stuff so that's just me.

Can your mom or maybe a friend come along? I would pay for someone's fare so they could be an adult companion for me and help with kids.

OP-you have 2 hands and 3 kids. Visit the grandparents or stay home and do day trips. I went solo with 3 and stayed at the beach with grandparents and 1 SIL. It was very hard. Youngest was 2. Also solo long drives with 3 is really baaaad.

When they are older kids club places will be a good option. Once we did Williamsburg for 1 week and they went to a camp at william and mary.

Isn't there a resort in Jamaica with a nanny assigned to you?

Go to Disney and hire a nanny to help out.

Nice resort with a kids club, or a cruise.

Disney cruise? It's all easy and family-friendly and there's the kids club and nursery so you could get some down time too.

I would try to go where you have family or friends and just see whatever there is to see there.

Williamsburg could be fun. I would stay at one of the resorts there. We like Powhatan resort. There is a nice indoor and outdoor pool. There is an activity center with organized activities for the kids. I would hang out there and then maybe do a low-key activity each day. There is free mini-golf, playground, and coffee shop on site at the resort. You could definitely handle it with 3. We rented a 3 bedroom townhouse for pretty cheap.

Yeah, that sounds painful. We were just out of town for my FIL's funeral, so I had all three to myself for much of the time (nearly 5, nearly 3, and a newborn), and it was SO hard. The only thing that made it semi-doable is that the newborn still sleeps a lot and I could throw him in the carrier. With an active one year old? No way.

I'd definitely hire a sitter for one or more kids and do a staycation with the others or for myself.

Diggerland is a lot of fun.

Sorry, that sounds hellish. Send older kids to summer camp and get a babysitter so you can have a break.

I have a 5yo and 7yo and pregnant with my 3rd. I have done solo trips with a 4yo and 6yo. That was hard enough. Can't imagine adding a 1yo to the mix.

Could you maybe leave 1yo with grandparent and take 3yo and 6yo somewhere by yourself?

Take the money and hire a babysitter for the one year old. Then, take the other two on day trips to water parks and museums in this area. Don't worry about cooking and do take out.

That would be a lot more relaxing. You could even go to the beach for the day on a weekday when the traffic is not so bad.

Totally agree
