Doesn't sound like a nurturing environment.

Every child is different, and they will graduate to this phase at a different time. For a preschool to expect every child to be fully potty trained by three years seem a little harsh. Take a breather and don’t stress over it, mama. Hugs!

My DS potty trained in one weekend right around his third birthday. I did a timer on my iPhone (he was crazy about the phone but I never let him use it til then). Basically every 15 minutes the timer went off, we made like it was a party to go potty, and one of those potty times he went in it. He caught on pretty quickly after that and as the weekend went on we lengthened the time between parties. He was pretty much fully trained by the time he went to daycare on Monday.

Like other pps said, maybe there is still time.

Also, fwiw, my kid's preschool required potty training for the 3 year old class, but when we got there at least half the kids were in pull ups (coming from the 2 year old class).

Not to hijack the thread, but we are trying to get ready for preschool in September and the naked method worked fantastic, in just two days.

Except now when we have switched her into underwear, she pees in them thinking they are like having a diaper on. She hates them being wet and comes to tell me and peels them off, and will then even try to go sit on the potty afterward, but it is has been more than a week of this, and I am wondering what the heck we should do now.

Does anyone have any advice on transitioning them from bare bottom to underwear? We tried waiting a week and trying again, but we are running out of time.
