same here. somewhat regularly in fact! i think pretty much everyone at least occasionally loses it and says something out loud that they shouldn't. lord knows i do, and i think of myself as pretty heavily self-possessed/controlled/zen. over the last 15 years of dating/marriage (and, er, mostly in the last 4 years since we've had kids), i've called dh an asshole and told him to shut up or go away or stop being so damned lazy and whiny and once to fuck off. etc. but never "go to hell". i'm not sure it's objectively worse but it feels like a line we shouldn't cross for whatever reason. anyway, point being, it is obviously not a way people should speak to each other, regardless, but everybody screws up from time to time. if it is a regular thing, have some real talk with him about why it bothers you. i did this the one time DH called me a "bitch". there have been plenty of fights since then, but no "bitch".
