I've been saying for a while that Trump has a chance because of his anti-trade agenda. The two things he hasn't changed his mind on are isolationism and the wall. Both of those are popular in the rust belt.

I won't vote for Biden. He is the most over rated politician. He is not known for any original ideas or has passed any path breaking bills in 40 years in the senate. Hillary is more qualified and her corruption is overblown.

+1. It blows my mind that people can't separate the person (Hillary) from the platform (Democratic). She may not be everyone's cup of tea but allowing Trump to become president is so incredibly dangerous. But then again, I think the majority of people on this forum are UMC whites who don't stand to lose much either way, and thus don't care about the rest of us.

The problem is that she totally lacks any convictions as evidenced by her constantly changing positions based on what is politically expedient and what sells to her patrons. So the platform means little. She will not stick to it as evidenced by her switch on TPP which she will go back to if she is elected.

Is it any wonder why she has such a trust and honesty deficit - and it is getting worse.

He has been interviewed endlessly and when he does not know the answer he just goes on to other things no matter how much the interviewer pursues the line of questioning. Like it or not, he is a master at handling the media.

His lead with the "uneducated" has gone up in a big way since the convention and like it or not, the uneducated have as much of a vote as the educated. Besides, I really believe the educated support may be higher because there is a stigma among some in declaring their support for Trump. We have seen that posted on this thread.
