If you like Civil War stuff:
Killer Angels (fiction)
Battle Cry of Freedom (non-fiction)

If you like urban fantasy: Dresden File series. James Marsters does a terrific job reading these. (It's a long series. I would start with Grave Peril, the third book. It's more polished than the first two. )

Just finished this and the narrator was so incredibly good. I just love her voice and the way she made each of the eleventeen characters distinctive. I'm in the middle of Moriarty's "The Husband's Secret" - also narrated by Caroline Lee.

I subscribe to Audible just for my daily commute, but these are the only two books I've wanted to listen to at home and on my break at work.

Yes, me too!!! I loved her narration so I downloaded her other book. She's very talented. I am in the middle of the Husband's Secret right now.

OMG PSA guys her new book comes out TOMORROW! Just in time for my road trip this weekend! I googled her after this thread (since I ripped through ALL her books last year after reading BLL) and there it was!

YES!!!! I had no idea! http://www.usatoday.com/story/life/books/2016/07/24/new-and-noteworthy-books/87055054/

Toni Morrison reads her audiobooks. They are very captivating, but of course have a more serious subject matter.

Don't watch the movie! You'll be so disappointed, I thought they cut out all the good stuff!

"Autobiography of Henry the Eighth" by Margaret George is AMAZING. The narrator, David Case, will blow you away.
