The pair of maternity pants I ordered (a size up from my usual) won't pull up past my lower thighs! The dress I was so excited about smells really bad - like chemicals... or like it was stored in the home of a heavy smoker. Tags are still attached and it looks new, but yuck. Deciding whether to try washing the dress or to just return along with the pants. Will give ASOS a try next!
I"m this PP - just venting again! I have a LOFT order of maternity jeans coming in today, and also ordered $350 worth of stuff from ASOS today in a bunch of different sizes.
I'm still sort of crushed that the Seraphine pants did not even come close to fitting. I hate returns and now I have a bunch to process.
I had no idea maternity shopping would be so expensive and hard to find clothing that fits... Plus, it's not as fun as normal shopping, because I'm not exactly looking for stuff that makes me look great, just not as gross, and just something that is a somewhat presentable alternative to yoga pants. I have a shower/lunch next weekend, so I hope SOMETHING in these shipments works.

I ordered the knot maxi dress from Seraphine, and it was pretty, but I was not in love (mostly because while it was a lovely shade of green, with a 37 week bump and large breasts it was way TOO MUCH green). Sent it back.
I ended up buying a non-maternity maxi dress (a size up from pre-pregnancy) from H&M that is gorgeous, and will probably have it re-sized post-pregnancy to keep long term. This one - http://www.hm.com/us/product/49331?article=49331-A
I also wore exclusively maxi dresses to work with sweaters and blazers in the third trimester, and 90% were non-maternity (mostly Loft and BR). I've had a lot more luck with non-maternity clothing than maternity.
Thanks! OP here ... I really doubt I can fit in non-maternity dresses but we shall see. My bump is ridiculously big this time around. Even more so because I stayed skinnier elsewhere so it just protrudes so far out front. Already up 40lbs. Ugh.
