Why should the OP pay? There is no contract and they didn't agree to unlimited extra costs. This is why estimates are in writing and signed!

Why would you paint a new mirror? Its hard to believe none were in stock or she couldn't get something similar.

Don't do or have done any faux painting, ever. You want fun colors? Great. But faux stucco / "Tuscan" / trompe l'oeil is SO UGLY.

10 hours to faux paint a mirror!?!?!!!! I love painting furniture and a mirror would take me about half an hour. And maybe needs a second coat, so maybe another half an hour. And that's being extremely generous.

My grandma is an artist and she could paint a detailed full wall mural in 10 hours.

A painter who specializes in decorative work. I am a designer and frequently have them paint walls in "textures" for clients who want that, paint kitchen cabinets, paint murals, and do things like paint switch plates to match tile in a backsplash. They're pretty expensive.
