This is OP. Charleston was a thought too - I went a few years ago and loved it.

Leaning towards Williamsburg - couple nights near the historic part (maybe with a trip to Christmas Town) and possibly 1-2 nights at GWL.



I love Christmas Town. Some people here have pooh poohed it before, but it is really impressively decorated and some of the rides are open which are fun.

Take a look online at flights to the Caribbean, Florida, Mexico, and look at cruises. You may be able to spend the same to go somewhere warmer. Just take a look. Iirc I found $230 rt to Cancun last December.

No such thing as a cheap flight over Christmas.
