No, in a different world the police wouldn't own all the weapons. If we reduced the guns across the board, police wouldn't shoot suspects and suspects wouldn't shoot police. Can you imagine such a world?

The Police here in US is not to serve and protect. They are here to find criminals and if they can't find any, they make people up to be criminals. It almost seems like they get paid per criminal.
My 2 friends and I have all been arrested in US and we are white. We all got "no papered", but why even arrest us then!

What happened to your friend's brother is NOT okay. Police brutality, no matter the victim, is not okay and needs to end. Black people are just more vocal about the wrongs committed against us.

The two recent shootings are sad. I'm a white make, Trump supporter and feel deep sorrow for what happened and what happens to young black men every day. The case in Minnesota is typically disturbing as the young gentleman killed was a licensed CCW holder and had told the cop he had his gun and was reaching for his wallet. What are they teaching cops? As someone who was a military policeman, I dealt with men/women who carried weapons a lot. You have to practice restraint. As a police officer you should always expect the person you're approaching might be armed. That doesn't mean you blast holes in them when they move.

I have no answer for this, it's an issue that does need to be looked at. Black folks have been talking about this for decades. No one listened. Now we're seeing their reality through social media. Something should be done.
