OP here following up: Thanks for help guide me in getting my ducks in a row! I returned to SG for my consult pre-FET last week, started BCPs today, DH & I will do our Lab Corp blood work this week, HSG & mock transfer are next week and transfer is the week of Thanksgiving. 7 weeks from consult to transfer--not too shabby!

Op...makes sense. However, we resumed last summer after 16 months away due to he birth of our twins. My wife, same sex couple, and I had to have the bloodwork completed for STD and I had to have an HSG done in Rockville. Didn't take long. Signed a waiver that I had had a pap in the past two years and then we were ready to go. We were then ready to start FET protocol. Good luck! Balanced diet, lots of water and exercise. Pounds will come off the right way. I was seven pounds heavier than my previous, successful fresh cycle. I just could lose those last few baby pounds.

Found out from another RE that HSG is helpful for FET because if you have a problem with your tubes it can damage embryos. The layperson's explanation. See: http://www.advancedfertility.com/hydrosalpinx.htm

My doctor at SG said I'd need to repeat the saline sono (but not the HSG) before my next FET because it's been a year.

This. Things like uterine polyps can interfere with implantation and can crop up quickly.

Can those be seen in the ultrasound? They do an ultrasound to check your uterus before the FET, but I don't know what else they are looking for other than lining thickness.
