I seldom spend over $25 for gifts for birthdays or celebrations at work.
I spend around $50 for baby showers.
$75-150 for weddings depending on whether I had to spend money on travel.
I do buy big gifts for my mom and my husband, like trips, fancy dinners or concert tickets. I'd guess around $250-500 each at Christmas and birthdays, although the trips usually add up to more than that.
$50 or so per person for other family at Christmas.
I also treat my all staff to lunch once a year and a small Christmas gift (around $10 each) out of pocket.

+1. This is exactly us too. We don't spend based on our incomes because it would be unfair or turn into a spending nuclear arms race. Our siblings gift us $50 and we gift them $50. It's more about the present/thought/effort than the money.
