Clearly there were winners and losers in globalization. Apparently a few more losers than winners who voted for Brexit.

Well its non-binding.

So the government can just ignore the so-called "result." Problem solved!

Because they're Brits and not litigious contrarian Americans.

Exactly. If the opposition feels so strongly that the true will of the people has not been captured, organize another referendum. Maybe this first one is a great alarm and wake up call for people to finally discuss frankly what it is they want to see in the future of their country. They need to convey their wants and needs, their worries and fears, and either let their elected representatives act on their behalf, or vote in a new referendum.

People who do not engage themselves in the future of their own nation has no position to criticize the outcome as brought about by those who do.

It is their will, the "remain" vote lost, and, we should do as Prime Minister Cameron did, respect it and not judge it. It's call the "will of the people" and even though you might see it as a split vote, it did pass by more than one million with the highest turnouts, this is what they wanted. Any not one of us knows how this will effect their future, not one of us.

It's "you're" stupid, and how this will "affect" their future.

Just FYI.

LOL, stupid...

Yes when one can't put a coherent argument forward you attack the grammar.

Its like everyone is just accepting this without even trying to change it.

Well, you can blame Cameron. He's the one who agreed to put it to a vote. This issue should have been decided in parliament.

That said, there is enough of a differentiation in the vote count to not warrant it being recounted.
