Great activities, religious aspect keeps the camp clean and kinda focused on good times as opposed to worldly distractions. I don't believe they are trying to convert anybody but trying to steer them toward being better people. My dd loves the games and the singing. It is extremely diverse, esp. considering it is in one of the more racially challenged areas of AA County - staff and campers. I've seen the overnighters and they all look happy.
We toured the dorms, bunk beds with maybe 6 or 10 in a room, clean, basic and simple. As for A/C, call them and ask, they are super friendly and helpful. It's too late now but they do a spring open house each year in April usually.
Thanks so much!
