goodness gracious. i am poster who asked a simple question about donation after another poster asked if she would be comfortable destroying/donating to science her remaining embryos. I did not mean to suggest that OP should not destroy/donate to science. As a scientist myself I think it's perfectly reasonable to do (so of course woman with 19, good on you to be so lucky) if you don't want your embryos to be adopted then by all means destroy them. To each her own. All i said is that it was a difficult situation for me to deal with because that same batch of embryos produced our wonderful DC. so i kept thinking about the others as potential siblings for DS. FWIW, because of age and finance, i did not use any of my remaining embryos . My only point was, if it's going to be a difficult decision for you after the fact, why not give them a try if you don't mind the FET process. Given that OP doesn't like the meds, then by all means she should try on her own if that is her preference. I didn't mean to start a war on whether it was acceptable to destroy/donate to science leftover embryos.

You are taking out your anger on me. Again, my response was in response to someone telling op to use her embryos so she doesn't have to destroy any. I'm saying op shouldn't take this into account. There are many of us who can't base decisions on this because we will need to destroy embryos regardless.

I don't think op is asking to feel better. She's asking for advice on how to decide whether to use frozen embryos or try naturally.

There are many things that may be mentioned on this board that may make you feel bad about your situation. Similarly to how it may be hard when friends get pregnant naturally. Unfortunately, that's just life. You have no idea what I have or haven't dealt with so getting all upset because I mention the number of embryos is silly. Besides the fact that an embryo doesn't equal a baby.

Did you read what my response was to? I was responding to the woman who said she wouldn't destroy any embryos. My point is that for some people (including op) not destroying embryos isn't an option. Obviously I can't transfer 19 embryos. Why am I a bitch for pointing this out? Many posters are dealing with infertility and it's not like having so many pgs tested embryos is going to result in a viable pregnancy for me....who knows if it will.

Op, I'm 37 and my doctor told me miscarriage risk is about 25% conceiving naturally vs 7% using FET where the eggs have been screened. So, that's one factor to consider.
