Are you referring to Poe or Glasgow? Mason Crest is a split feeder. Personally, I'd prefer Glasgow to Poe, at least with DeRose in charge at Glasgow.
DeRose is nice and is very into school spirit, but I'm not impressed with the academic side. I feel there is a lot of fluff but no substance. I can't compare it to Poe, however, as I have no experience with that school.

I live here. Not so impressed by Shrevewood ES so far. Not a great school and it's very crowded. They are getting even more trailers. This past year the sixth grade classrooms were all in the trailers.
Shrevewood is in the Marshall HS district, not Falls Church.

No part of Annandale feeds into Lake Braddock. Annandale feeds into Annandale, Falls Church, Stuart and Woodson.

Although our DDs are still pre-K, I've heard nothing but good reviews from the families in our neighborhood with kids who are school-aged. Many of the elementary kids go to Mantua for AAP, but those at Pine Spring seem to be equally pleased.
