I would never fly without my baby having his own seat/carseat.
The price of one first class ticket is almost always more expensive than two economy class.
Do the right thing and insist on a seat for your baby.

Just request you don't get sat next to people with bitchy auras about them.

Honestly, back when I traveled with young kids, the nicest people.to sit next to were male business travellers, grandmotherly types, young guys/girls (college or younger), and frazzled moms travelling with kids or moms travelling without kids.

The worst were single, millenial type 20-30 something female business travellers.

My answer is the same as if you were flying coach, or any class. If it's going to be quiet, yes. If it's not, that should be entirely your own problem, but unfortunately, you will probably make it everyone else's problem.

. Too bad, then buy all the other first class seats or go private, if you fly commercial you really lose the right to complain. If someone pays for their seat, whether first class or coach, it's none of your business if they bring a baby. So stop acting like one.
