I like Teddy (short for Theodore). Loren's nice but it definitely seems like a girl's name. Bowen is OK. Bram and Ambrose are OK I guess too. What are your other kids' names?

Lorne would be better. Teddy ok. I don;t like Bram, Ambrose or Bowen.

Another English poster. Noone has heard of Loren over here, but might I suggest Fergus. It seems like every other boy in London is called Fergus. Also Jack, Ralph (pronounced Rafe), Gareth, Teddy, Freddie, Jake etc

I went to college with a Loren. In one class, the teacher preassigned us for group work and Loren had to be reassigned because they thought he was a girl and they were trying to balance the groups by gender. He complained that people always saw hiS name and assumed he was a girl. Not sometime I would suggest for a boy.

I live in England and my DH is English. Neither him, nor I, have ever heard Loren for a boy. Don't do this, there are a million English sounding names out there without resorting to Loren.

No one would be able to pronounce it or spell it. He'd go through life saying "Not LAURen, LORen and it's spelled L-O-R-E-N."
Of course, this fails the spelling test I just rejected Loren for, but we know a boy named Graeme (pronounced Graham) and I think it's a great name and a great spelling variant. Another acquaintance has a Quinn, another name I love.
It's probably becoming way overused but Finley and Finn are both nice. I agree with the PP about Owen, Rhys (although again with the tricky spelling) and Gareth. I also love the name Griffin and would totally have named my son that if DH had been on board. Rory is good although probably trending girl in the U.S. Reid is a nice variant on Reed. Eamon (pronounced aim-on) is a nice Irish boy's name (although yes also difficult for Americans to spell).

Nigel is a Brit name you seldom have in the US and better than some of the ones posted. Also Duncan, Hugh, Augustine, and Angus (Scottish FWIS).

I love Loren. I also really love Bram.
