I just got my BFP from a single pgs tested transfer. The odds of a pgs tested embryo are very high. I only had one normal embryo, if I had two I would have transferred both.

Having just visited a new month 2 months post-partum with twins, I can tell you it's crazy. I thought things were difficult with a singleton, but twins is another playing field.

That's experience talking. And we're all amazingly consistent in our advice - which ought to say something in and of itself.

I have twins. I had a smooth pregnancy and they are now healthy, happy 5 year olds, but I am very risk adverse so I would transfer one to be in the safe(r) side!

ok, but how many embryos to transfer is something you can easily control. you can't change your age (and OP is 32, anyway).

So are AMA and obese women with high blood pressure.

It depends on your age and if you want to go through pregnancy again. My husband and I knew we wanted 2 kids so with us both being 40 we decided to transfer 2 and shoot for twins because I did not want to go through the entire process again due to cost, and age and fibroid issues. Both embryos took and I had a healthy twin pregnancy and delivery. 6 months after the twins were born I had to end up getting a hysterectomy due to the fibroid issues. They tried other methods but ultimately I had to get a total hysterectomy so we were very glad that we had our two babies already.

Absolutely only transfer 1. We had to make this decision and had decided before going on that we would transfer 1. Shortly before the actual transfer, I panicked and thought maybe we should transfer 2. My DH reminded me of our decision and that transferring two doesn't actually increase your odds of pregnancy much, just your odds of twins.

Ours stuck (and is now 22 months old) and I'm so very, very glad we only transferred 1. My son was a tough baby and there is no way I could have held onto my sanity with two of him.

Transfer one. At age 41 I transferred one PGS normal and have a DC from that. Later I did an FET with one of the remaining embryos and had another baby 2 years later.

Another twin mom echoing everyone else. 1 at a time!!!

And for more reasons that just health.

Mine are healthy, as am I, and despite that I still wish I could have had the same two kids, just a couple of years apart. I would love to be able to focus on one baby at a time, one early walker (and runner!!), one learning to read, one potty training, etc...

Given the choice, and ESPECIALLY at your age I so strongly suggest just one at a time.
