K12 allows you to teach online. If your issue was with admin. and harassment, that's one way to stay in teaching without the other annoyances.

Working as an administrator at an educational nonprofit, or summer camp/program. I know a few teachers who have gone into curriculum development for educational publishers.

This is me as well, Op. I've been teaching middle school and encountered a horrible admin and harassment this year. I'm still applying at other schools but half heartedly and I don't know what to do. I'd love to work with educational programs, applying for a job as an associate editor at a kids magazine in my field, but all these seem quite competitive.
