I like Kate Winslet. Leave her alone. I didn't think she deserved the praise she got for titanic, but I like most of her other movies.

The only actress I really do not understand is Kristen Stewart. She's so terrible.

Should have added: it's a sequel. Not sure one was necessary.


The author of "Mary Poppins" actually wrote several books about the character and word is (in the above article and elsewhere) that the new film will use those books at least in part. So there's some background there for more stories with the same main character.

This does not explain why big studios keep hemorrhaging money into her projects. They all bomb.

I actually like Emily Blunt a lot, even in not-so-great movies.

And I love, love, love Mark Rylance. Made Hanks look like an amateur.

I think very poorly of people who start threads like these - what kind of idiot do you need to be to create a discussion for the sole purpose of dissing someone YOU HAVE NEVER EVEN MET? All these actors work really hard, and if you don't like their looks or their acting, somebody else does, otherwise they wouldn't be in such demand.

She was also good (in an action role) in Edge of Tomorrow with Tom Cruise. I really like her!
