For people you don’t know well, I think you could absolutely do one or two $20 bills.


$20$20 is perfect! Or go in with some of the neighbors for a more substantial gift card if someone is willing to take the trouble. These kids better acknowledge all gifts in writing since their parents are soliciting them. Hate when 18 year olds don't know enough to write proper thank you notes. Gave $500 to my nephew about 3 years ago and got a card with his name scribbled and addressed by his mother.

I was thinking 20 I am in the same situation I was invited to a neighbor sons graduation don’t know neither of them , I thought it was sorta tacky they would invite us in the first place.. They have lived here for 10 years and never talk .
