I drove my friend in HS and while we were talking in her driveway a huge light covered the car and hovered for several minutes. I think it was a UFO.

At National Airport, I opened the unlocked door to the family bathroom, with my toddler in tow, where I met eyes with a man who was sitting on the toilet, presumably taking a dump, while typing on his phone.

We were driving back from a school band trip and I saw an overturned car on the other side of the road. No police or anything. No one else saw or commented and I was so scared someone got hurt or died.

Seeing a huge pregnant deer 4 feet away when you get home drunk is also pretty freaky.

When I was 9, I was eating at a McDonald's in Brooklyn with my cousin when a man in the booth next to us fell to the floor, starting convulsing, and then died. I have a really bad association between that event and the egg nog shakes, which I was eating that day.

It means he dwells in the dark and is silently watching you. It means he will continue to watch you. It means he is violent and will act on those impulses. To protect yourself you have to look into the darkness as well.

We let a friend and her family spend a month in our house between moves and one night my husband and I were in our tool shed working. The husband was standing outside the circle of light in the shadows for a long time before we realized he was there. It creeped me out then and only hinted at what was to happen later. That image still bothers me because now I know what it means.
