Subject: 95 south traffic on friday
We are leaving about 9 a.m. on Friday. It's always hell but we've never tried morning; we usually go after 7 p.m. We're coming back early Monday morning.

This. Although occasionally the 301 bridge over the Potomac gets backed up, it's a nice drive and never as much as a shitstorm as 95.

I've done that Memorial Day Friday before, and it's no picnic, either.
There's too many people driving that day for it to be good any where.
210 has a ton of lights. 301 eventually goes to 2 lanes past La Plata.
