Agree. This is a bizarre way of phrasing it ... at least, if you are not jealous or judgmental of your friend. Stop worrying about what she is posting and focus on your actual interactions. If indeed she is dismissive of your issues/stories/life, then yes, she is perhaps not much of a friend. If she is just happy about how her last year turned out (and yes she may gush), but is willing (or eager) to hear about you, then that does not sound like a problem.
