Update: She got an acceptance letter (already?) from Coastal Carolina and seems quite proud of it. In my opinion, she fell in love with the pretty campus but will be punching below her weight, academically. Oh well, kids.

All those who said it was a glorified commuter college known for partying are absolutely correct. I had several friends go there and they loved it and most of them are successful and happy.

If she's set on an Intelligence degree she should also look at Fairmont State in WV. It's close to WVU if she wants to party or have fun and the campus is beautiful. It's around three or so hours from DC and a little over an hour to Pittsburgh. My husband has several of their intelligence grads working under him and he's impressed with them.

This is what my nephew did. Of course, what do you do with a degree in marine biology.... he is selling shoes.
