Because a failure to denounce is viewed as acceptance. It is really not hard to say that you condemn anti-Semitic attacks. It is telling that no Trump supporter here will do so.
I see it as indifference i.e. Not even worth my time. If something is stupid, best to ignore it rather than negativity reinforce it

This is about right. He won't go out of his way to hurt the Jews, but he sure doesn't care if we are collateral damage.
This states it completely.

If it benefits him to go to AIPAC and sing Israels praises, he will do that
I do not believe him to be anti-semitic at all. It is not personal to him, just business

It is a stupid, untrue, and makes the other side ignore you.

Obama ran in some circles where there was a lot of antisemitism(or so people say). When the right shouted for him to denounce these people he did not. You have been called antsemitic on this board. Should Bernie or Clinton denounce you? The problem with spinning your opponent into a monster is when the lights come on and he is a rational person, you lose credibility. Trump has a long history in NY. He has never been call antisemitic.
Bernie has not really denounced the voilence in Nv or the Bernie bros, do you hold him to the same standards as Trump? Don't take this the wrong way...but you need to take a break for politicals...just turn of the TV, do not read the blogs, etc for the weekend. Everyone will be fighting about the same stuff on Monday and nothing will have changed.

This is more than guilt by association. Trump was actually asked to condemn anti-Semitic attacks on reporters and refused to do so. It took multiple tries for him to denounce David Duke's support. These are things that should be automatic and not complicated to do.
Like not calling cops stupid or some such? (Sorry, to lazy to recall other shining examples.)
