You need to reach up (to HS) or down (to ES) to build a truly sustainable HRCS
If you want to make money at tax payer expense then you're looking at the wrong line of work. You need to be a contractor bidding on renovation projects for DCPS, in the pocket of the Mayor. That's where the real money is.

Otoh, look up Cap City and see how that turned out. Or Two Rivers. Or Yu Ying. Or Mundo Verde.

I loved that show....it's cancelled![]()
It was actually a reference to a television show in which a main character is involved in creating a charter school. The villain who tries to take over uses this school "model" to try and convince everyone to vote for her to be the new leader.
A joke for the 10 people that watched the show Togetherness on HBO.

Between all of the people on here I think we could start and maintain a new charter middle school
Who's with me..... and yes I'm being serious

We can use some high SES code words that don't mean anything, like "GMO free construction", "child focused curriculum", and "chef-driven menu". If anyone questions what we're doing, we can say "What? It's not exclusive! Poor kids should have non-GMO constructed facilities too, you know."
Then we can locate it somewhere in gentrification central but far from transit to make it a little harder for low SES people to get to. If anyone questions that, we can just blame it on DCPS and Kaya Henderson not giving us a facility for free on top of a metro station.
