We looked into buying a used Subaru Forester last year and ended up buying a new one because the used ones were barely discounted. Subarus hold their value very well. I got my 2015 Forester almost exactly a year ago for 3.5% below invoice (not MSRP, INVOICE). It's a great time of year to buy an SUV because the weather is getting warmer. Also a great time of year to get this Model year at a low price because they're trying to clear the lots for the 2017s.
