A Wrinkle in Time series Madeleine L'Engle for adventure and superior writing
At ten, depending on your son's reading level, you could begin to introduce some semi-classic books, to read independently or aloud. We read Old Yeller together this year and Where the Red Fern Grows and Johnny Tremaine are on our list.
