I went to Walmart and bought a $25 prepaid cell phone and a $10 voice changer in cash. I called this man and told him that his wife had slept with multiple people that I know of and that the should know it. I was able to back up my story and provide him with real details that supported my story. I told him that he could call me back for up to a week with any questions but after that point I planned on destroying the phone.
He did call back once and asked a bunch of questions, so that I knew and others that I was not sure of. At the end of the conversation he tried to turn the tables and blame it on me for telling him. If I told him in person or let him know who I was, I would have had a real problem at work.
Your problem would be blowback where you live! I would tell noone and call the police every-time that I saw something but only with the burner phone and with my voice changed. Never trust the police to keep your identity secret as they may let it slip or let it be know intentionally in order to put some pressure on this person. When the burner is not in use, take out the battery and store in a safe location. Don't let anyone know about the phone (kid, neighbor, friend, priest, spouse ... ANYONE!).
Do not use it or turn it on at your home or office as the calls or texts can be geotracked. Drive to a busy location - McDonalds, Safeway, etc and call from the parking lot.

Car traffic does equal drug dealing. Stop in, smoke a sample and buy a bag. That is exactly what is happening. He's doing it where he lives, he is not smart o4 operating like he wants to protect himself.
Things to look forward to: he gets robbed for cash or pot, hopefully you and your family don't get in the way. That's why drug dealers meet in public spaces to keep their homes safe.
Pot dealers usually move up to sell other harder drugs, profit margin is larger on harder drugs, harder drugs are easier to cut and stretch profit. These are the types of people who may be under the influence who are next door to you.
Your house/car may be getting broken into. It's not like you are living next to a drug cartel, its just that drug users are not the smartest and these are the people who are in your neighborhood now.
Be nice to the kid's face but start contacting the police and continually report suspicious behavior. You are doing him a favor, I can't count the amount of people I knew growing up who are dead, or became repeat offenders and in prison, or had jobs and eventually lost everything they had.
whatever you do.... TELL NO ONE IN YOUR NEIGHBORHOOD, OR YOUR KIDS THAT YOU ARE REPORTING.
this is not just a little pot smoking, when it scales up to dealing from your home it starts getting dangerous.

Still a nuisance that I'm afraid won't stop without help from the cops.

Excellent advice. Take it, OP!

Or her son for that matter. Think shit on your step. Broken mailbox. Brick in your window. Brick thru your windshield. Loud parties screaming at your window to piss you off. Beating up your kids. . .Id stay away.
This is loser advice. Call the cops, they will zealously protect your anonymity. I would not call the school, I would not expect the same level of security over your anonymity at a school.
The above poster has no idea what they are talking about. You are throwing that kid a life line by reporting him. The long term effects of drug dealing are life altering, right now he is 16 his record can be expunged.
