Doesn't Conttenelle advertise ITSELF as the toilet paper you need to use wipes to clean up after? Crazy. For most toilet papers, once does the trick.

My MIL only buys the one ply. Drives me crazy. We do a week long rental house with them every year. She brings all the supplies but I sneak in my own Tp and then only use the bathroom near my bedroom. I can't do a week without my 2 ply!

I a huge Cottonelle fan, but not the Ultra version. That really clogs the toilet and the kids abuse it. The regular 2-ply Cottonelle is just right without clogging the works.

Cottonelle is numero uno. Charmin leaves a dust storm in the bathroom.

I call it man paper. It takes sh*t off of no one.

They make it because it's cheaper to produce and they can charge less. There's usually a decent market for the cheapest product. My husband routinely buys the cheapest products he can find, which is why I always volunteer for grocery duty.

El cheapo DH insisted on buying No-Name toilet paper when it first came out. After his first dump with the toilet paper, he came out of the bathroom and tossed the roll in the trash.
