I'm guessing in the Heartland (Minnesota, Iowa, Kansas etc.) as well as Mormon country conservatives are better educated, less populist and see through his shtick?

Shouldn't Cruz be doing well in Oregon and New Mexico? They are bordering the heartland states that he was winning? Indiana being close to Ohio and Michigan should be a Kasich territory? It's too little too late.
Have you ever been to any of those states?
Oregon is not an evangelical sort of place. It's more socially liberal and I can see why Cruz would give it up. Also New Mexico is not the same as Oklahoma or Texas. It has a different "vibe" that is also less evangelical, a bit more artsy and less of a Cruz place. Indiana, OTOH, is more conservative and more of a Cruz kind of place. Just because Indiana is close to Ohio and Michigan does not mean it is the same place.

New York Italians are plenty educated, thank you very much. Way to stereotype a bunch of groups that are not widely represented on DCUM by suggesting that the reason for their support of Trump is because they are somehow inferior to you. Maybe you need to get better educated about people who are not just like you.
This about sums it up.
Op sounds like a Trump supporter![]()

Trump inexplicably calling Mitt Romney "not a real Mormon" didn't exactly help him in Utah.
