Apologies for resurrecting an old post but.... I have an appointment at the center tomorrow and have somehow misplaced my referral form. I recall there were specific directions about where to park and which entrance to use on the back but can't remember the exact details to save my life. Does anyone know where I should park and where the center is in relation to the hospital? Thanks!

Agree on PP - if you have an option to steer clear, I would. The first appointment I had there was the anatomy scan - it was an afternoon appointment and I was there for almost 3 hours. Since I have been able to get 8:30am appointments, which I believe is their first appointment of the day. You would think that would cut down on waiting - it has to a certain extent, but generally if I show up a few minutes early (8:20-8:25) there is no one at the front desk and I have to wait for them to show up and check in. I don't think I've actually been taken back before 8:45. The waiting is annoying, but the u/s techs I've worked with have been great. One in particular is always so excited about the baby, I'm sure she doesn't remember me from appointment to appointment, but it feels like she does.
The doctors, on the other hand, I have been less than impressed with. I almost feel like they don't have time for me because I have not had any complications (seeing them due to AMA and IVF). The first appointment Dr. Ghidini actually took me back to his office and wrote down the statistical differences for pregnancy complications for IVF vs. "normal" conceptions, which felt a little over the top to me. Met with Dr. Poggi once - asked her about some sharp hip pain I had been experiencing and she told me "that's just part of the aches and pains of being pregnant" in a super condescending tone. I was fully dressed when she came in, so when we were done talking I got up and was following her out of the room - well, until she shut the door in my face. I have another appointment there on Friday morning, totally dreading it!

I've been there for two pregnancies, and can confidently say they're terrible. The only reason I continued going there was because they were the only practice that my ob worked with for high-risk and I really liked my OB and didn't want to switch. I had a similar experience to one of the pp's where they consistently got different readings on my low fluid measurements, and argued in front of me. One of the techs was so rude and unprofessional we also asked not to see her again. If you are going to use them, I recommend trying to get a first morning appointment. Like others have said even if you do you can sometimes be there for up to 2 1/2 hours. I don't know if they're really disorganized or overwhelmed or what, but I have had many times where I had to cancel work appointments around lunch time even though I arrived first thing in the morning because I was waiting so long to be seen. I don't know what other people are talking about in terms of meeting with Dr. Poggi after each visit because I only met with her once out of probably 20 to 30 times that I went over the course of two pregnancies. If you have any other option, I'd say steer clear!

I have been there for two pregnancies the first was great, the second was horrible. They are always behind, never answer their phone, and very rude which is not great for a pregnant woman with a chance of a high risk pregnancy. The end with them was when they gave my information to a patient that wasn't me. When you are rushed you make mistakes and she must have forgotten to check the person's birthdate, we had the same first name. I was so upset my blood pressure went through the roof. My OB is recommending them again and I tried to give them another chance but already they never answer their phones and when they finally do are so rude. I have an appointment but I am doing everything possible to see someone else.

Went there in the fall for my 20 week u/s and also had a fetal echo there this fall. Same tech both times, who was great. Dr. Ghadini was fine (it was a very short conversation, nothing serious to discuss luckily) but DH was a little put off by his bedside manner. Wait times were long but overall, I'd say the experience was a positive one.

They're OK. Always seems to be a long wait. Drs and techs have always seemed fine-nice-thourough.
I went there a bunch for last pregnsncy because of ama, and I'm just starting to go back again for this pregnancy.
