Or move to DC. My kid played soccer and baseball today. Nothing was cancelled.

So since a lot of DC families move to the burbs as the kids get older, then those Arlington HS coaches should be fine (since the DC kids got their swings or whatever in). Perfect!!

It was raining all night and morning. Wouldn't playing in that much mud hurt the fields? All games on turf fields in Arlington (and Falls Church) were still on today.

What's with all the uses of "wimp" and "wussification"?

Someone's projecting their own sad little sexual insecurities onto local youth sports here....

OP here: the Nats canceled because they can reschedule into a split-admission doubleheader say in August and get a way better gate (and concessions and parking sales) than today.

If this were an AL or West Coast team on its only visit, Nats play.

Try again, Chief.

Orioles still planning to play tonight against division rivals ... it is 4:45 now.

Bah. Os postponed game around 8pm, however it was actually windy and raining. All kids games cancelled though so it made for a more relaxing trip to Balmer.

Are you suggesting that if the choice is between some kid getting lymphoma and the local HS having a losing record in baseball you would pick the kid getting lymphoma? That is messed up.
