Another vote for the Staub. It's incredibly luxe.

I drink a lot of tea and use my kettle to make coffee. I used to use a stove top kettle but people would crank the gas too high and damage the spout too often, so I switched to electric. It's so much faster and easier.

Electric kettles are more energy efficient and don't sing.

Adore my Gas stove top teakettle. Never ever electric!
